Keep 'Em Wet


Bonefish are as equally beautiful as they are delicate. Proper handling practices as well as making sure you keep each fish in water for as long as possible greatly increases their chances of swimming off healthy, ready for the next angler to enjoy catching them.


Below is a good example of how we do it. We make sure each fish stays in the water for the hook removal. If a photo is taken then the fish is removed for a few seconds with wet hands, before being placed back in the water and revived fully to swim off fit and strong.
