LICENSES

Sportfishing licenses are required in Mexico for all game fish when fishing from a boat. Fishing from shore does not require a formal fishing licence. Mexican sport fishing licences are available for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month and 1 year. As part of your skiff charter package, we will apply for this on your behalf, before your trip. This cost is built into your trip.

DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY

Payment is required to hold your date(s). Clients are required to pay a 50% deposit for any fishing trip booked two months in advance, with the final balance due in cash on the day of your trip. Full payment is required for any booking made less than one month before the date requested.

Cancellations made one month, or more before trip date are 100% refundable, but subject to a $50 US cancellation fee. Cancellations made two weeks before your trip are 50% refundable. All cancellations made less than two weeks before your trip are non-refundable. All cancellations must be made in writing.

WEATHER POLICY

Inclement weather is a fact of life on the water, especially so down here in the tropics. Although rare, these days often spoil charters and cancellations are required. In the event of a weather day, every effort will be made to re-schedule your charter to accommodate both parties. If we are unable to re-schedule your charter, we will try our best to still get you out on the water with one of our different offerings.

If neither of these offerings proves workable or are unsatisfactory, then a full refund will be issued within 30 days after the date of your trip.

MECHANICAL FAILURE

We regularly maintain our gear, reels, vehicles, trailers and skiff motors to ensure our wade trips and charters run smooth and safely every time. As with anything mechanical, unfortunately, despite best efforts, failures can and do occur. We treat any day with a mechanical failure the same as a weather day. We will make every effort to either re-schedule your day if possible or offer a comparable alternative to still get you out on the water.

If neither of these offerings proves workable or are unsatisfactory, then a full refund will be issued within 30 days after the date of your trip.

All trips are licenced and insured with professional guides and captains. We operate legally and with all laws set by the Mexican government and the state of Quintana Roo. Our trips and charters are 3rd party insured to give you peace of mind and offer another level of security to your booking. Our guides speak fluent English and are trained in basic first aid.
